I have 3 copies of Hard to Kill , the first book in Return of the Originals series to give. I pondered on how to decide who to give them to and this will probably end up completely arbitrary.
All you need to do to enter the contest is answer my questions.

Question: What is your favourite type of shifter or magic user? And why?

I am fascinated by the concept of shifters and even fondly consider myself a cat animagus, well I am cat whisperer :), with the power of magic as well (if only). So I like most shifters and I enjoy reading interesting pairings, who are polar opposites, like cat and bird or even a dragon and a wolf shifter. Its even better when magic gets thrown in as well.

I love to read about shifters. Love the concept of mates. I have a soft spot for the underdog and Omegas. My favorites are wolf shifters I like the pack mentality and hierarchy. Alpha being big and bad and the protector, Betas being the 2nds helping the Alpha. Then the Enforcers who help protect the whole pack and uphold laws. Then the Omega as the peace keepers. I
I'm also like the Fae. I like the fact that each fae has different powers and that in some worlds males can get pregnant. The whole concept of an alternative universe covered by a thin veil is fascinating

Do all shifters have an alpha? I know the wolves do and to me, they are some of the most amazing animals. I took the following from a post I came across which cements my feelings toward them: "Loyalty, affection and playfulness. Wolves are extremely loyal to other members of their pack - they mate for life, and will take care of sick or injured pack members. They show affection to each other every day in the form of licking and nuzzling - this helps to reinforce their bonds. They are very playful animals, and usually play daily - they chase each other, play-fight, play tug-of-war with sticks or pieces of a kill, and throw objects such as sticks or bones into the air and catch them again. They have been observed to cease play for around 6 weeks after the death of a pack member, and howl often, as though calling for the missing individual. They show clear signs of being in mourning. There are even cases in which, when one of a mated pair dies, the other will stop eating until it too dies."
Yeah, that's why wolves are my favorite shifters.

wow! Your answer is very informative! You really have a soft spot for werewolves! I know, wolves are awesome. Paranormal stories have always been a favourite for me. I love all shifter stories with big cats, wolves and dragons topping the list. I really enjoy the "mate" concept and am not averse to reading about male pregnancy.

This is such a hard choice because I read such a huge variety of paranormal romances. I would think that the one that really surprises me is the Sidhe and how they can be written so differently and still have the same base.

What a good question... I love shifter books....
Bears are on of my favourites... bears turn in to big hunky men, with lots of body hair... There is usually knotting in bear shifter books... Knotting is my kink. I don't mind a bit of m-preg... What can I say, with shifter books anything can happen....

My favourite shifter is the sweet omega werewolf cause usually having to overcome hardship and persecution they make a big bad alpha go to their knees and act like a little puppy for them. No matter what life throws at them they almost always caring and loving and make a person want to wrap them in hugs and TLC
